Can the oven be built-in?

Place the appliance on a clear, level and heat-resistant work surface. There must be a gap of at least 5 cm between the appliance and the wall. The area above the appliance must remain clear to allow for unobstructed air circulation.

Does the outside of the oven get hot?

Yes, as with any oven, the outside of this oven gets hot. It is important to be careful and not to touch the oven whilst it is in use. The door handle is, of course, heat-resistant.

I’d like to clean between the panes of the glass door – is that possible?

Unfortunately, the two panes of the door cannot be taken apart. The inner pane is secured with pressed-in disposable clips, which are difficult to release and cannot be removed without causing damage.

Are the accessories dishwasher-safe?

Yes, the grill rack, the baking tray and the crumb tray are dishwasher-safe.

My oven smells and smoke is coming out of it. Is that normal?

When using the appliance for the first time, there may be a slight smell and some smoke. This is completely normal and harmless; it is simply the protective coating on the heating elements burning off.

Can I switch on just the fan heater?

To set up the oven correctly and start heating, you must make at least 3 settings:

Required: Select HEATING ELEMENT (top heat, bottom heat or top & bottom heat) – If the control is set to ‘Heating element off’, the oven will remain cold.

Required: TIMER – Activates the oven for the set duration with the selected settings. The indicator light at the bottom will then remain lit until the time has elapsed.

Required: TEMP – Set the desired temperature.

Optional functions: ‘Fan’, ‘Rotisserie’, ‘Rotisserie & Fan’ or ‘without’ fan/rotisserie function.
