My cool box isn't keeping things cold enough. Why is that?

It is important to note that this is an electric cool box that does not use a compressor. The cool box can cool items to up to 18 degrees below the ambient temperature. If, for example, the cool box is left in a very hot car, it will not be able to keep the interior cool.

How can I optimise the cooling performance?

We recommend chilling your products in the fridge before storing them in the cool box.

The 12 V plug is faulty.

Unfortunately, we do not stock the plug as a spare part. However, replacement plugs can easily be purchased from Amazon, for example. You would then need to strip the cable and connect it to the new plug. (These are usually screw terminals.)

If the cable itself is in good condition, the problem is likely to be with the built-in fuse. You can simply unscrew the end cap - the fuse is located there. It is easy to replace. Replacement fuses in the correct size (5A) are available for just a few euros, for example on Amazon.

Are there any spare parts available for my cool box?

Unfortunately, we do not have any spare parts available.

How big is the cool box?

External dimensions: width 55.5 cm, height 41 cm, depth 39 cm, capacity 45 L.

How long is the cable?

How loud is the cool box?

48 dB(A) standard / 38 dB(A) ECO.

Eco mode isn't working.

Please note that Eco mode only works when using the 240 V plug. This function is not available with the 12 V plug.

Is it possible to use the cool box in my car without a cigarette lighter, for example with a power bank?

The cool box requires an operating voltage of 12V. The standard USB output voltage is 5V and would also likely have insufficient output power to operate a 48W cool box.

In this case, it would be advisable to contact the vehicle manufacturer to clarify what recommendations are available and what retrofit options are possible.

Why is there water in my cool box?

This is condensation and is normal. To minimise this, please ensure that the box is not opened too often, particularly in a warm environment. It is also recommended that you pre-cool the cool box and its contents so that the box does not have to absorb too much moisture.

Are the cool boxes thermally insulated?

Yes. The cool box features thermal insulation using the insulating gas C5H10 (cyclopentane).

Can the cool box also heat?

Yes. The cool box can also heat up to 50 degrees. However, the keep-warm function is not intended for heating cold food, but for keeping hot food warm. Heating up cold food and drinks takes a very long time!

Please ensure that you never switch abruptly from the cold function to the hot function. Switch the appliance off first, wait for about 30 minutes, and then switch to the other function.

Is the cool box also suitable for continuous use?

Yes, the cool box can be used continuously without any problems.
