Are the parts of the ice cream maker dishwasher-safe

The ice container is made of stainless steel and is therefore generally dishwasher-safe. However, since the salts and high temperatures in the dishwasher can damage the shaft bearing over time, we do not recommend washing it in the dishwasher.

We generally recommend washing the mixing rods by hand.

Where is the drive unit for this machine located?

The appliance features a base drive; since the motor is permanently built into the unit rather than being crammed into a tiny space in the lid, it is significantly more powerful and can mix more vigorously. The motor’s power is transmitted via a shaft that runs through the ice container. As a result, the container is not seamless, which makes it more difficult to clean by hand.

My ice cream maker beeps when I turn it on.

Please make sure not to just place the lid on top, but to close it completely by turning it toward the lock symbol shown until you hear it click into place.

This is the only way the device will recognize that the lid is properly closed. Otherwise, an audible beep will sound when you turn it on.
