How does the TZS First Austria FA-5053-5 work?

The FA-5053-5 uses circulating hot air. This ensures that food is cooked evenly and comes out crispy on the outside – with no oil at all, or just a very small amount. It is a healthy alternative to a traditional deep fryer.

What is the capacity? 13 litres

The appliance has a generous 13-litre capacity. This makes it ideal for families or for cooking several dishes at once on different levels.

What accessories are included in the scope of delivery?

The set includes:

3 wire racks,
1 rotating basket (for chips or snacks),
1 rotisserie spit with holders (e.g. for chicken),
1 drip tray,
1 removal tool.

With this, you’ll be well equipped to prepare a wide variety of dishes.

What programmes does the Airfryer have?

The FA-5053-5 has 8 pre-set automatic programmes, including programmes for: chips, chicken, steak, fish, cakes, vegetables, dehydrating and reheating. However, you can also set the temperature and time manually at any time.

How do I set the temperature and time?

The digital touchscreen allows you to adjust the temperature (from 40 °C to 200 °C) and time (up to 60 minutes, or up to 8 hours on the dehydrating program) to suit your needs. This ensures that a wide variety of dishes are cooked to perfectio

Can I also use the FA-5053-5 for dehydrating or baking?

Yes! Thanks to its precise temperature control from 40 °C upwards, the Airfryer is ideal for dehydrating fruit, vegetables or herbs. You can also bake, grill, fry or reheat food – it’s a real all-rounder in the kitchen.

Do I need to preheat the air fryer?

Preheating is not strictly necessary. For particularly crispy results – such as with chips or meat – we recommend preheating for 2–3 minutes.

What is the best way to clean the FA-5053-5?

The racks, the rotating basket and the tray have a non-stick coating and can be cleaned with warm water and mild washing-up liquid. Please wipe the housing down with a soft, slightly damp cloth only. The accessories are not dishwasher-safe, to protect the coating.

Does it have an automatic switch-off function?

Yes, the appliance switches off automatically once the set cooking time has elapsed. The cooking process also stops if you open the door whilst the appliance is in use.

How loud is the air fryer when it's running?

The fan makes a quiet humming noise during operation, similar to that of a fan-assisted oven. This is completely normal and indicates that the hot air is circulating.

Can I cook several dishes at the same time?

Yes, that’s one of the biggest advantages of this model. With three oven shelves, you can cook vegetables, meat and a side dish all at the same time – saving both energy and time.

What safety features does the appliance have?

The FA-5053-4 is equipped with several safety features:

automatic shut-off once the cooking time has elapsed,
overheating protection,
a door safety stop,
non-slip feet.
