What is the TZS First Austria FA-5053-4 and how does it work?

The FA-5053-4 is a compact digital hot-air fryer with a 5-litre capacity. It cooks food evenly using circulating hot air, ensuring crispy results – with no oil at all or just a tiny amount. A healthy, modern alternative to the traditional deep fryer.

What programmes are available?

The FA-5053-4 air fryer features 8 pre-set automatic programmes, including: chips, chicken, steak, fish, vegetables, cake, toast and reheat. The temperature and time can also be adjusted manually at any time to achieve your desired results.

What is the operating temperature range of the device?

The temperature can be adjusted from 80 °C to 200 °C. This allows for both gentle cooking and intense frying and baking.

Do I need to preheat the air fryer?

Preheating is not strictly necessary. For particularly crispy results – such as with chips or meat – we recommend preheating for 2–3 minutes.

Can I also use the FA-5053-4 for baking or grilling?

Yes! You can use the appliance to bake, grill, fry, roast and reheat food. Thanks to the even distribution of hot air, cakes, muffins and pizzas turn out perfectly every time.

How does it work?

You can easily set the program, temperature and cooking time using the digital touchscreen. The clear LED display shows all active settings at a glance.

Is the appliance easy to clean?

Yes, the removable parts have a non-stick coating and can be easily cleaned with warm water and mild washing-up liquid.

To protect the coating, they should not be put in the dishwasher. The housing can be wiped down with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

How loud is the air fryer when it's running?

The fan makes a quiet humming noise during operation, similar to that of a fan-assisted oven. This is completely normal and indicates that the hot air is circulating.

What safety features does the appliance have?

The FA-5053-4 is equipped with several safety features:

automatic shut-off once the cooking time has elapsed,
overheating protection,
a door safety stop,
non-slip feet.

This ensures safe operation at all times.

Can I use aluminium foil or baking paper?

Yes, you can use baking paper or aluminium foil, as long as they don’t obstruct the air circulation. Perforated air fryer liners or heat-resistant trays that fit snugly into the cooking basket are ideal.

How long is the warranty valid for
